Before Your First Lesson
Before you can start driving lessons on public roads, you'll need:

- To be at least 17 years old
- To pass your theory test before you book your practical test (we recommend starting to study early)
How Long Will It Take?
Everyone progresses at a different rate. DVSA data shows that most learners need around 47 hours of professional tuition to reach test standard. Some people take fewer, some take more - what matters is that you feel genuinely ready before you test.
We'll always be honest with you about your progress and never push you to test before you're ready.
