These Terms & Conditions set out the basis on which Wharf Driving School provides driving lessons, courses and related services. By booking a lesson or course with us, you agree to these terms.

Booking & Payment

• Lessons and courses can be booked by phone, WhatsApp, email or our online contact form.
• Current prices include manual lessons from £35/hr, automatic lessons from £36/hr, refresher lessons from £41/hr, intensive courses from £1,229 (30 hours) and a mock driving test at £260. Block bookings of 10 hours are £330 (manual) or £340 (automatic).
• Payment is accepted by cash or bank transfer. Block bookings and intensive courses are payable in advance unless otherwise agreed.
• Prices may change from time to time; the price confirmed at the time of booking applies to that booking.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that plans change. If you need to cancel or rearrange a lesson, please give us as much notice as possible so we can offer the slot to another pupil.

We ask for at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson without charge. Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice, or missed without notice, may be charged in full.

Lateness & No-Shows

Please be ready at the agreed pick-up time. If you are not available within a reasonable time of the lesson start, the lesson may be treated as a no-show and charged. Lessons cannot usually be extended to make up for a late start.

Pupil Responsibilities

To take a lesson, you must:

• hold a valid UK provisional (or full) driving licence and bring it to lessons if asked;
• be able to read a number plate at the required distance and meet the eyesight standard;
• be fit to drive and not under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any medication that affects your driving;
• tell us about any medical condition that may affect your ability to drive.

We reserve the right to end a lesson without refund if you are unfit to drive or behave unsafely.

Driving Tests & Use of Our Car

Where you have trained with us, you may be able to use our car for your practical driving test for an additional charge, subject to your instructor agreeing you are at test standard. Test fees payable to the DVSA are your responsibility. We are not responsible for tests cancelled or rearranged by the DVSA.

Liability

Our cars are fully insured for tuition. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for events outside our reasonable control.

Conduct

We are committed to a respectful, professional learning environment. We may decline or end tuition in cases of abusive, threatening or unsafe behaviour.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
