How we use cookies and how you can manage them.
Last updated: 18 June 2026
This page explains what wharfdrivingschool.co.uk puts on your device, which is very little. Read it alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers what we do with the information you actually send us.
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. Some make a site work: keeping you logged in, remembering what is in a basket. Others watch what you do and report back, which is the sort most people mean when they say they are worried about cookies.
None. This is a set of static pages. There is nothing to log into, nothing to add to a basket, and no preference for the site to remember between visits, so we do not set a cookie of our own on any page.
We also run no analytics and no advertising cookies. We do not track you around the web, we do not build a profile of you, and there is nothing here to sell on. That is why you have not been shown a cookie banner: there is no non-essential cookie of ours for you to consent to.
Our home page and our contact page embed a Google map showing the area we cover. When that map loads, Google may set its own cookies on your device, under Google’s policies rather than ours. We do not control them, we cannot read them, and they are not passed to us.
No other page on this site loads the map. If you browse our lesson, price or area pages, nothing at all is stored. You can read how Google uses this data at policies.google.com.
Every browser lets you block cookies, block third-party cookies specifically, delete what is already stored, or warn you before anything is set. Blocking third-party cookies stops the Google map setting anything and leaves the rest of this site working normally; the map may show a blank panel or a prompt instead, which costs you nothing except the map.
Step-by-step guidance for Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge is at aboutcookies.org. You never need cookies to book with us: phone 07706 876263 or email info@wharfdrivingschool.co.uk and we will arrange everything without you touching the website.
If we ever add analytics or advertising tools, we will update this page first and ask for your consent before anything non-essential is set. Any change is published here with a revised “last updated” date.
