The A123 Fencepiece Road is the only proper through-route here. Everything else, Manford Way, New North Road, Manor Road, is an estate distributor, which any map of the area will confirm. The consequence is that your judgement at a busy junction gets tested once or twice a trip instead of continuously, so the practice you have built up is a good deal thinner than your mileage suggests.
You are picked up on Hazelbrouck Gardens, and the minutes on Franklyn Gardens are not marked. Marking starts west out of New North Road onto the A123 Fencepiece Road, north to the Romford Road junction at Grange Hill, then east onto Manford Way and down its full length through the shop parades to Staggart Green. The lanes towards Hainault Forest go in if the light allows. Franklyn Gardens takes the reverse.
The estate runs on the Central line loop, and a licence starts to matter when that stops being enough: work out towards Essex, or shifts that finish after the trains have thinned out. Depot and parade staff are the obvious ones. So are parents running children to Fairlop Waters and Hog Hill, who have worked out how long that takes without a car of their own.

Manor Road meeting the A123 up at Grange Hill is the other junction that decides how a drive out of here goes, and it behaves differently from the New North Road one because you arrive with speed already on.
